When It Rains...It Pours.

No friends...it's not raining in my little corner of Arizona (don't I wish!!!). No friends, I'm enduring a shower of little annoyances.

Annoyance #1 - Period. I think you know what I'm saying here. Yes...I have hard painful ones and yes, it means extra laundry loads and yes, it makes me feel bloated, miserable and cranky/

Annoyance #2 - Tantrums. Baby Boy has now turned pro.

Annoyance #3 - School Starts. I've worked through my issues with Big Sis going to school, but now Hubby up and starts school today too! Seriously though, it's been so nice to see him so much this summer. It's a luxury we've never had in all our years of marriage and I admit...I loved every minute of it!

Annoyance #4 - I'm out of it! This requires an explanation. I have been trying to get rid of a bladder infection for about a month. I treat it, and it seems to be better do the antibiotic for 7 - 10 days and then it seems to be okay for about 5 days, then it's back. So...this last event prompted a new antibiotic and a longer course. I have been taking the medication for about 7 days. This morning, I took said new antibiotic with breakfast...20 minutes later while we are having family scripture study...my arm feels a little itchy. I look down to see this:

Whoa! What's going on!!! I think it's just some weird thing and go on. Then I realize, my stomach, and chest are covered too. Then I realize it's on my legs and feet.

By the time I take Big Sis to the bus stop...it's all over my neck and face!

A quick call to my favorite doctor (my dad) confirms...yes, I'm probably having an allergic reaction to my new antibiotic. He advises me to stop taking the antibiotic and take some Benadryl to see if I can't get the reaction to stop.

So...now I have a medicine headache, think I'll fall over because I'm that drowsy, and itch like crazy!!!

Now...I'm off to bed.

Until next time...Keep laughing!

Indeed when it rains it pours ... and it sounds like you are getting flooded out!

I hope your bladder infection learns to stay away permanently and that you stop itching and get some rest soon.

Holy cow! That's quite the rash. Thank goodness for doctors in the family! And I'm sorry about your periods (totally empathizing, here), the tantrums, all the school, and, of course, the rash.

Eat some chocolate and take a nap every day. :)

Oh dear! That does not look or sound pleasant. I hope things are going a little better now.
