I must admit that I have lost the thick skin I used to have from living in Utah & Idaho...I guess Arizona has spoiled me. It's so cold here! Having said that, we are enjoying nice weather here too, but I just wish I had brought a thicker coat.
Today I was able to attend church with my parents at my old home ward. For anyone who may read who is not aware of my religious affiliation, I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (Mormon). If you are a member of my church you may be able to understand my feelings today.
I am currently serving in the Primary Presidency in my ward in Arizona. Today, since I was visiting my parents ward, I attended Relief Society...I was a basket case. I kept looking at the door, watching the clock and bouncing my legs up and down. What was the reason for my crazy behavior? I was just worrying...about what? Primary! Why? I don't really know. I've had this experience before. It's a funny thing...when you get used to serving in Primary, you are used to moving and managing the entire meeting. When you just get to sit and relax...you don't know how to handle it. I'll be happy to be back in primary next week...maybe I can relax there!

Amen, Amen, Amen! I haven't been in RS for almost 3 years, and I can't sit still when I'm there. That's so funny that you were going stir crazy in there. I totally know what you mean. :)
Okay, you have to tell me where in Idaho you lived! Was it college? Was it home? Now I'm so curious!
I'm glad the trip went well!
I felt like that when I got released from young womens. I kept worrying about them when I didn't need to anymore. :)
I'm glad you had a nice trip. We're hoping to visit UT this Summer.
Thanks everybody for your comments! I was definitely stir crazy!
So Cheryl, We lived in Rexburg. My husband taught at BYU-I...he's currently on leave to get his doctorate and then we'll will probably be back there. So...I guess it's school and home. Sort of! :)
Ahh. Thank you!
We enjoyed our recent trip to Utah, too. And most of the time the weather was nice, but it did get cold!
Congratulations on a successful drive with your kids! we are happy that you guys arrived safe and sound. I am the worst at worrying about my responsibilities even when they are well taken care so I very much understand how you felt. I take it as a good sign though! It means you are responsible and you do care!
