Well folks...I don't know how much I'll be able to blog this week. Instead of calling today Monday, I'm calling it, "The Calm Before the Storm" (hence the blog title).
I can hear it now...weeping, wailing, gnashing of teeth. Try to control yourselves!!! I know, I know you just won't be able to make it through the week if I don't write daily. To that I say...I'll try, I'll really try, but this is going to be a doozy (is that a word?) of a week.
I was going to try to list what I have going on this week, but I am afraid that it won't look very impressive, so I'll just say this...This Saturday is my husband's end of the semester recital. Yep, it's all him...playing with his accompanist for an hour and 15 minutes. This is the week I need to keep things calm, easy going and non-stressful because I want my husband to be able to do what he needs to do. Between now and his recital I will have critiqued 20 research papers (written by HS Juniors...ugh), washed all the sheets and towels and put them back in their places, cleaned the house about 500 times (because I'm crazy like that), gone to the Stake Primary meeting, helped my 4 y/o write and memorize her talk for opening exercises on Sunday, prepared Sharing Time, welcomed both my parents and my husband's parents, and several other little things that-don't-sound-all-that-big-but-end-up-taking-a-lot-of-time.
In short...I will do my best to blog...but if I fall short of time...please don't forget me and please keep coming back...I need my readers!!!
