In Over My Head

To all of you who have been wondering where I am...I'm right here!  It's been a long time since I had such gaps between posts.  Unfortunatley...I think more are in the works.  While I want to be blogging every day, I just can't do it at the moment.

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving with 18 here at my house.  It was awesome!!!

Now the Christmas season is in full swing.  This means extra busyness and more projects to complete.  I basically have to have all of my Christmas prep done before the 17th when we will leave to attend the wedding of my lovely and talented brother-in-law and then to spend Christmas in the Frozen North.  My body is already telling me it's not sure it wants to go away from warm weather.  But as long as it's not snowing during the driving...it's all good and I know the kids will love playing in the snow.

Between now and then...I need to finish shopping, wrap and deliver presents to all of my wonderful friends and neighbors here (cuz they are awesome and I want them to know I love them), download footage, edit and present a Video presentation for our Ward (LDS congregation) Christmas Party, do all the fun stuff we want our kids to experience here in Arizona, ship packages to loved ones far away, and just basically all of the other stuff we do at this most wonderful time of year.  This means I'm busy...but happy.  I mean...I love Christmas!  It's my favorite time of year!!!  But...as I said...I'm a little busy.  You might not hear too much from me for a bit.  Oh, how I wish this weren't the case.  I have some great Christmas present suggestions for kids, traditions to blog about and lots of Bloggy Christmas fun to have...but it will all have to wait for a bit.

So...in the interim...tell me...what's your favorite thing about the Christmas season and what's keeping you super busy at the moment???

Peace, Love and Joy ya'll!!!

I was thinking about you! Glad to see you blogging.

I posted today about how I am planning on doing a post that highlights my blog friends and items they sell. Want me to do your Tupperware store?

'Tis the season to be busy. I still have tons of things to get done, but my 10 kids keep my busy year round!

Tis the season to trim the house (check), put up the tree (to do), bake a ton (next week) and, oh yeah - HAVE A BABY. The clock is ticking down...and my stomach's all tied in knots, just WAITING for those little (and BIG) contractions to finally start!

Hmmmm....keeping me busy is the sudden discovery that I'm playing like 10 songs for the choir in Sact. meeting for our Christmas Program. Practice...practice...practice. I do love Christmas time too. I love getting out the Christmas movies and music. It's makes the house feel warm and cozy....even though I refuse to turn the heater on this Winter :-) There's just no need.

I've seen on a number of blogs that people aren't going to be posting as much for the next few weeks. It's such a busy time!

My favorite thing about the Christmas season is the beautiful spirit of it, created by the music, decorations, gifts, and traditions. Life as usual + Christmas preparations are keeping me very busy right now.

I enjoy your blog and I'm glad I've finally commented on it now!

Thank goodness I'm not the only one unable to blog in the month of December :)

I just ended my unplanned 6-week hiatus from the blogosphere. Hope to see you back soon too!

P.S.- My favorite part of Christmas time is drinking hot cider or tea while it's snowing outside. Preferrably by a fireplace :)

What keeps me busy? Everything everyone else said. Plus work. Lots of work.

My favorite thing is watching my kids light up at any and all things Christmas. You just can't beat that.
