For the Broken Soul

Every once in a while, I post something on a Sunday. If I post on a Sunday, you can pretty much guess that it's going to be religious in nature. This week, a friend of mine - Candice, who I met on an amazing Study Abroad to Jerusalem when I was in college, posted this on her blog. This is something her husband put together and I thought it was really beautiful. For anyone who might come across this who isn't familiar with me, I will just repeat, I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, sometimes called the Mormons. I have a testimony of Jesus Christ and His atonement and I unashamedly profess to believe in all that He is and was.

In this video you will see some images that are definitely LDS or Mormon (LDS missionaires, LDS/Mormon Pioneers, and even a snippet of the Joseph Smith Story), the speaker is a member of the Quorum of 12 Apostles in our Church (Elder Jeffrey R. Holland) and the song was written and is sung by a member of our Church as well. I only mention these things so that as you watch you will understand that this is, to some extent, directed at an LDS audience. However, I really feel that the message is one of hope through Jesus Christ and I think that is a message (which is really the message of the gospel we believe in) for everyone. I hope you enjoy it!
