2 posts in 1 little day = lucky you!!! I'm sure you will agree. Right? RIGHT?
Moving on....I heard something truly delightful on the news last night. The weather dude said that yesterday is most likely the last we will see of 100 degree temperatures for the year!!!
If you do not live in the Southwest (specifically the Phoenix area), you will not understand the joy and felicity that such a forecast brings. Just know...tonight there maybe someone dancing in the streets...I'm not going to say who...but if you hear about this on the news...you may just think of me and smile. :)
Doesn't this look like Dancing in the Street to you?
Honestly, people...living in the Valley of the Sun is fantastic and I don't like thinking that this will probably be my last winter here. But the time when you really LOVE living here...starts this month. While my mom will be hyperventilating with each forecast of possible snow invading the Salt Lake Valley and the lady who rents our house in Rexburg will be crying when the first snow storm hits and makes the town into one huge ice skating rink, I will be reading a book out on the patio while the kids ride bikes, slide on the slide and enjoy how the rays of the sun make Vitamin D for their little bodies.
So...in honor of the return of beautiful weather (OK, not really, but it's a good segway)...I'm throwing a virtual Tupperware party. Take a look and order something for Christmas (you might like checking out the Buy 1 Get 1 Free offer - you get 8 Tupperware bowls in total...think neighbors, friends, relatives - divide up the set and you're spending less than $10 per gift). To find my Tupperware party...go to this link. And Yes! (thank you for asking...you were asking, right?) You can host your own online Tupperware party (to earn free Tupperware & help me pay for Christmas for my kids) too! Just go to my Tupperware Website and click on the little blue banner that says, "start your online party today"! It takes 5 minutes to start a party and start earning credit towards free and half price Tupperware. Anyone, anywhere can participate in my online Tupperware party or yours!
Now...because I want you to comment (because I would cry if you didn't...and you wouldn't want that, right?)...back to the weather!
How do you feel about the coming of winter...Discuss...

I'm in Rexburg.... honestly dreading the ice rink. I'm so grateful for my 4 wheel drive SUV. I wouldn't survive without it becuase I live so far out of town. I really don't mind the snow or the cold, it's the WIND! It's the one thing I can't stand.
And I can understand why you would be excited about it not being 100 degree's. haha. Enjoy your last (maybe?) warm winter.
I realized earlier this week that my oldest has no pants in her wardrobe at the moment. So, in honor of the below 60 degree temps in Provo this weekend, we're going pants shopping today. Yippee!
I am incredibly excited about the change in the weather up here. First of all, I don't mind the snow. I lived in snow for the majority of my mission, where I was walking through it all day every day--so it's no big deal when it snows now because I get to stay inside my nice, warm house. Plus, just like your last winter, this will be my last winter in Utah. And, we'll be gone before we can get sick of the snow at the end of the season next year. So, I say bring it on!
When I lived in Utah, I lived for winter. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the snow. I love playing in it, shoveling it and watching it while I wear a big sweater and drink hot chocolate.
Here in Oregon, winter stinks. No snow, to speak of, just lots and lots of rain. Which I don't mind the first couple of weeks but after 5-6 months of it, I can't handle it anymore.
Good luck with your Tupperware party. On my way to check it out.
I'll trade anybody on those comments above me straight across for life in those state vs. this one.
And ...YESYESYES....the temps are suppose to get down this weekend. I'm delirious with joy. My AC is off at night and now today. I'm jumping. I'm dancing. I don't know how to end this comment. Help!
My bro and sis-in-law live in Surprise, AZ--do you know of it? Anyway they LOVE the HOT HOT weather.
I am NOT looking forward to the snow!! YUCK!!
I don't mind the cold and snow. I'm kind of sad I may not see any "real" snow here this year. The weather here lately has been great. We have not used AC or heat. Going outside during the day is usually very delightful. It's been starting to get a bit chilly in the morning, though. Almost cold enough to get the heater going.
Well I'm in San Diego so winter isn't too bad. It doesn't really get chilly until January or something. I'm looking forward to some cooler weather since we've had 90-100 degree weather this week.
I'm in Tennessee and it has gotten a little chillier so I made soup today! Love it. I love being where I get all four seasons - although the snow is less than it used to be.

As I was blog stalking the neighborhood thought I'd leave you a comment because I didn't want you to cry.
Now about the weather. Well being from So Cali. there really isn't much of a change around here. Just the same usual unusual heat waves, fire storms, and wild furry winds. Not much more to say really.
I am SO looking forward to winter. I know you're a bit hotter than we are here in Vegas. But, we're still seeing upper 90's most days. THis week we're in for a real cool down, and I am ecstatic! I'll have all my doors and windows open, chili or stew in the crockpot. Baked goods happening in the oven. I LOVE IT!!!
I am happy 100 degrees is over for you!!! YEAH HAPPY DANCING FOR YA!
I love fall.... winter and snow... not so much
Phoenix IS glorious in the winter, I agree. Snow is not my favorite pal, except on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Other than that, I feel that snow should stay in the mountains where it belongs.
I LOVE the fall! Winter I could take or leave, it's the coming of it that gets me excited!
